Welcome to our new Junior School Principal
After ten years of training young people in Performing Arts, it’s time for a shake up!
Our Junior School was created to offer young people in Edinburgh the opportunity to not only spend their spare time doing something that they love BUT also to experience professional-level training in Acting, Singing and Dance. Our MGA Junior School was designed to treat every student as if they were on the road to a professional career in Performing Arts, with training to push and encourage them to achieve and learn more than they ever thought possible! As such we now have ex-students training in many drama, performance and dance colleges in the UK and performing across London’s West End and around the world.
Edinburgh has seen massive leaps forward over the last ten years in its provision of opportunities within the Performing Arts for young people and as such it’s time to look closely at our own training of students in the Junior School to make sure that we are still at the cutting edge, leading the way in subject, tutors and opportunities. It is therefore with great pleasure that we introduce our new full-time Principal of The MGA Academy of Performing Arts Junior School, Mr Kristofer Harding.
Kris is a hugely successful Musical Theatre performer, and brings a wealth of experience and talent to MGA. He’s starred in hit shows in the West End and on UK and international tours, including Starlight Express, Blood Brothers, Evita, Hair and Grease. Kris will be dedicating his time to ensuring that our students really are amongst the best trained, most professional and happiest young performers in the UK. Just as it should be!
