Spring Season of shows open tonight!
The Spring season of performances by Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre students opens tonight and we couldn’t be more excited!
Join us for three very special shows starting tonight, May 15th, and running through until Saturday 20th May, at the Church Hill Theatre in Morningside, Edinburgh.
The third-year Acting students have been busy rehearsing BOEING BOEING with Actor and Director Nic Cory, who has flown in from the US to create a brilliant evening of comedy to open our season.
And it’s the climax of the year for all our Dance students – masterminded by MGA tutors Senay Taormina and Sup Dhanasunthorn, the stunning RITUAL can be seen on Wednesday and Thursday this week. This original Dance piece explores the relationships and values of ritual activity, drawing on themes from across times and cultures. It will be an evening not to be missed, with Choreography by Sup Dhanasunthorn, Senay Taormina, John Burlington, Regan Shepherd and Alex Risbridger.
Finally, we are thrilled to welcome renowned international Director and Choreographer Carole Todd to work with our Musical Theatre students on MY FAVOURITE YEAR alongside West End Musical Director Marc McBride, to close the season on Friday and Saturday.
