BA (Hons) Acting course produce ‘Back to Normal’ with Wonder Fools

Earlier this term, our graduating class of Actors had the opportunity to work with Scottish-based production company Wonder Fools.

While in isolation, the students developed and filmed a piece of work called Back To Normal. The performance takes the form of a mockumentary featuring material that varies from the dramatic to the surreal featuring music by regular Wonder Fools collaborators VanIves.

In recent months, events have taken place, which have caused disruption, delusion and despair to people from all over the world. A select few are experiencing a more peculiar set of problems due to losing their superhuman abilities. This documentary sets about to uncover some of the secrets, backstories and transformations of some of the world’s favourite, and some cases forgotten, superheroes.

Back To Normal is a farcical story for the times we are living in and asks: when we lose our sense of self, what do we have left?
